The 15-stage filter targets chlorine, chloramine, heavy metals (lead, mercury, nickel), hard-water minerals (calcium, magnesium), sediment, bacteria, and organic compounds. The four primary media — KDF-55, Vitamin C, Calcium Sulfite, and Coconut Activated Carbon — each target a different class of contaminant in sequence.

Under 5 minutes. Remove your old showerhead, insert the gauze disc, wrap the thread twice with sealant tape, screw the Nova x Blumotion on clockwise until snug, then run cold water for 60 seconds to flush the carbon dust. That's it — no tools, no plumber, no hassle.
The activated carbon media produces a harmless fine carbon dust during manufacturing. Running cold water at full pressure for 60 seconds before your first shower clears this completely. The water may appear slightly grey initially — this is normal and clears within the flush period.
Unscrew the showerhead from the pipe, twist open the showerhead body, remove the old cartridge and insert the new one, then reassemble and reattach to the pipe. Run water for 10 seconds to flush. The whole process takes about 2 minutes and requires no tools.
